Hello, and welcome to my home page!

I’ve always straddled the fence between physics and astronomy. My undergraduate degree is a B.S. in Astronomy from Case Western Reserve University, but my Ph.D. from the University of Chicago is from the Physics Department. However, my dissertation research involved astronomy. As you can see, I could never make up my mind! That’s why I enjoy being a member of the Department of Physics and Astronomy at OWU, with the opportunity to teach courses in both disciplines.
